"AlgoWork" workshop with the University of Innsbruck and TU Darmstadt

As part of the DFG-funded "AlgoWork" project, our chair met with the Business Information Systems chairs of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Remus from the University of Innsbruck and Prof. Dr. Alexander Benlian from TU Darmstadt on 19.04.2024 at FAU Nürnberg to discuss current research projects on the topic of "Algorithmic Management".

PhD students from the University of Innsbruck, TU Darmstadt and from our chair presented their current projects on topics such as "Algorithmic Control Evolution", "Algorithmic Management and User Expierence", "Algorithmic Control Transparency", scale development of "Resistance to Algorithmic Control" and "Algorithmic Control in Non-Platform Contexts". The intensive and lively discussion at the workshop was perceived as very enriching by all participants. We hope that we can keep the "spirit" of the discussion with us and maintain it in our publications for the next business information systems conferences.
