AlgoWork: DFG project team visits House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics for multi-day research exchange

In the course of the project AlgoWork funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), we are currently researching the topic of algorithmic control – that is, how organizations apply intelligent algorithms to steer their workforce, in cooperation with TU Darmstadt. The entire project team recently spent an exciting week at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) at the invitation of Prof. Magnus Mähring. In presentations and lively discussions, we presented our current research, gained exciting insights into the work of the researchers of the SSE, and made valuable new contacts.
For Prof. Wiener, this trip was also a return to a former place of work. In 2013/2014, he served as program director for the new “Master program in International Business" at SSE, which is ranked 4th out of 100 participating top international business schools in the current Financial Times ranking of Masters in Management.
