Abstract
Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Social Software-Anwendungen und deren Einsatz in Unternehmen. Web 2.0-Werkzeuge erfreuen sich immer größerer Beliebtheit und werden zunehmend auch im Wissensmanagement, insbesondere in der Wissensgenerierung und der Wissensteilung in Unternehmen eingesetzt. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht drei der bis dato am häufigsten praktisch angewandten Social Software-Anwendungen: Wikis, Weblogs und Soziale Intranets. Darüber hinaus widmet sie sich der Betrachtung von Podcasts, einer Anwendungsklasse, der in der Forschung bisher nur wenig Beachtung geschenkt wurde, welche jedoch vor allem in der Aus- und Weiterbildung und dem damit zusammenhängenden Transfer von Wissen erhebliches Potenzial bietet.rnEs wird angenommen, dass Social Software sowohl implizites als auch explizites Wissen zu generieren und transferieren vermag. Zu diesem Zweck wird das von Nonaka und Takeuchi (1997, S. 73ff.) entwickelte SECI-Modell herangezogen, welches den Transfer von Wissen zwischen Individuen bzw. dessen Umwandlung in transferierbares Wissen beschreibt. Zwar gibt es bis zum heutigen Zeitpunkt einige Studien, die sich mit der Eingliederung von Social Software-Anwendungen beschäftigen. Jedoch wurde diese Einordnung lediglich theoriegeleitet ohne Berücksichtigung konkreter Kriterien vorgenommen. Dies ist vor allem bei der Übertragung auf praktische Problemstellungen, wie dem effektiven Einsatz von Web 2.0-Werkzeugen zur Generierung und Teilung von Wissen unzureichend.rnUm dem genannten Problem vorzugbeugen und Unternehmen bei der Wahl geeigneter Social Software zur Wissensgenerierung und -teilung zu unterstützen, sollen im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit exakte Kriterien herausgearbeitet werden, anhand derer die Einordnung innerhalb des SECI-Modells vorgenommen werden kann. Zur konkreten Identifikation von Kriterien werden zwei der von Probst et al. (1997, S. 51) herausgearbeiteten Kernprozesse des Wissensmanagements berücksichtigt: Wissensgenerierung und -teilung. Pro Kriterium werden zu diesem Zweck jeweils zwei Ausprägungen berücksichtigt, die entweder vornehmlich die Generierung oder den Transfer impliziten oder expliziten Wissens unterstützen. Im Ergebnis soll eine Maske entwickelt werden, welche analog zu dem von Nonaka und Takeuchi (1997, S. 73ff.) konzipierten SECI-Modell eine Eingliederung unterschiedlicher Social Software-Anwendungen ermöglicht.
