Als letztes Mitglied der ersten Generation nach Fakultätsgründung 1993 ist Prof. Dr. Eric Schoop am 1. April 2025 in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand getreten. Mit seiner Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insbesondere Informationsmanagement hat er seit dem Jahr 1993 maßgeblich zur Entwicklung der Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften beigetragen.

Auszeichnungen der Professur

Die Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. Informationsmanagement wurde mehrfach für herausragende Leistungen in Lehre und Forschung ausgezeichnet. Neben renommierten Lehrpreisen würdigen auch Preise für Abschlussarbeiten und internationale Projekte das langjährige Engagement des Lehrstuhls.

Dissolution of the Chair following the retirement of Prof. Dr. Eric Schoop

With the retirement of Prof. Dr. Eric Schoop on April 1, 2025, the Chair of Business Information Systems, esp. Information Management, at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics was dissolved. We would like to thank Prof. Schoop for his many years of commitment to teaching and research.
