The issue of the journal Empirische Pädagogik is dedicated to current research approaches to artificial intelligence in vocational education. The articles in the special issue focus on three main topics in particular: Approaches to the assessment and promotion of AI-related competence facets, Ethical challenges of using AI in educational processes and Evidence-based development of AI-related teaching-learning resources.
