­Announcement Data Salon We're getting fewer! What next?­ Demography: Ideas. Perspectives. Potentials.

Demographic change and associated trends, such as an ageing society, migration to cities and a shortage of skilled workers, are often discussed very negatively in the media and in public. The federal state of Saxony will be particularly affected by these developments. At this year's 9th Data Salon of the Statistical Office of Saxony and the Center for Demography and Diversity at TU Dresden, we want to look at this topic from a more positive perspective. Where are the opportunities, prospects and potential of demographic change for Saxony? What ideas already exist for adapting to and coping with the changes? Under the motto:

the Datensalon will take place on October 1, 2024 in the Klemperer Hall of the Saxon State and University Library. The event starts at 2.00 pm (admission from 1.30 pm) and ends around 6.00 pm. You can expect six exciting presentations, a poster session with demonstrators, a closing podium and the opportunity for informal discussions over a snack. Join the discussion!
