Hybrid Board Meeting in January 2024

The board of the Center for Demography and Diversity convened for its first meeting of the new year on January 16, 2024, held in a hybrid format. Discussions included a report on the Demography Salon focusing on the ifo study "Factors of Family Formation, Childlessness, and Fertility," successfully conducted in November 2023 in collaboration with the German Family Association, Regional Association Saxony. Also highlighted was the CDD members' assembly following the event. A key focus was on the Center's future activities, particularly the planning of the upcoming Data Salon, addressing the opportunities presented by demographic changes. This event is organized in partnership with the Statistical State Office of Saxony. Additionally, presentations were made on the GEROTECH Festival by ZukunfTAlter, the annual conference "Health – Thinking, Researching, Acting Together," and the "AI and Electronics for Medicine 2024" conference. The next board meeting is anticipated to take place in April 2024.
