Sports office

The sports office is part of TU Dresden's or HTW Dresden's Student Council (StuRa). The sports office is headed by a member of the StuRa, the sports advisor.

The sports advisor:

  • is the interface between the Student Council and the Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ),
  • represents the interests of the students practicing sports towards the universities and the DHSZ,
  • assists in the organization of competitions and other sporting events
  • is the primary contact person  for financial support to sports
  • is a representative in the University Sports Advisory Board, in the State Conference of University Sports in Saxony (Landeskonferenz Hochschulsport Sachsen, LHS) and in the General Assembly of the German University Sports Association (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband, adh).
