Bicycle mechanic wanted!

The Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ) is looking for a dedicated freelance bicycle mechanic (m/f/d) to support its team in the maintenance, repair and servicing of our extensive bicycle and mountain bike pool, which is used intensively by students and staff.

Your tasks:

• Professional maintenance, repair and servicing of bicycles and e-bikes for use in university sports
• Assembly and adjustment of bicycle components and accessories
• Diagnosis and rectification of technical problems
• Advising our students and staff on bicycle technology and care

Your profile:

• Completed training as a bicycle mechanic or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in the maintenance and repair of bicycles and e-bikes
• Good knowledge of common bicycle models and components
• Friendly, service-oriented demeanor and enjoy working with students
• Independent, responsible and reliable way of working
• Flexibility and willingness to work on a fee basis

• Flexible working hours by arrangement (2 days/week á 4 hours)
