Start of Online Registration
Online registration for Block A generally takes place during the first week of the TU Dresden academic term and is organized by status group (students & employees, guests/external participants) and sport.
Registration for Block B—for continuing courses requiring a password—begins one or two weeks before registration opens for open courses and remaining spots in continuing courses.
- The sports program is continuously updated until registration begins.
- By booking one or more sports courses, you acknowledge and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Please note that for all sports courses, you may cancel and re-register only once.
No sports activities are held on holidays .

You can find all registration and participation conditions in the Terms and Conditions (T&C). By booking a sports class, you acknowledge and accept the Terms and Conditions.
As a rule, sports classes take place once a week during the semester. The class fee applies to the specific class booked during the semester.
Sports Course Registration
- Select your desired sport.
- Select the course entry and click “Book”: Please note! The “Book” button will only appear under “Booking” once registration has begun. Click it and fill out the form that opens.

- After filling out the registration details, click “Register (fee applies)” to proceed to the registration confirmation.
- The registration confirmation includes your participation ticket and the DHSZ’s bank account information. Print out this page. You must always bring your participation ticket with you to the course.
- You will also receive the registration confirmation via email.
- Once the DHSZ has received your payment, you’ll receive a payment confirmation via email.
"Waiting List"
For courses that are fully booked, you have the option to add your name to the “waiting list.” This “waiting list” is a notification service; in other words, you do not automatically move up the list. Those on the waiting list will be notified by email when a spot becomes available again. Multiple people are notified at the same time, so the first to respond will receive the course spot.
Payment of the Fee
- Payment of the course fee must be made immediately after booking the sports course via bank transfer.
- Failure to pay the fee (by the deadline) will automatically result in the cancellation of your spot in the class. Therefore, be sure to make the transfer immediately after booking!
- Refunds are generally not possible. Exceptions may be made in justified cases (e.g., prolonged illness—proof required) and after consultation with the DHSZ administration. See the Terms and Conditions for more information.
