Mindfulness and stress reduction
A moment to pause and reflect!
Based on Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, TU Dresden is once again offering its popular mindfulness courses for TUD students and staff in the 2024/25 winter semester. The courses are expected to start in January 2025.

Testimonies from past participants
Bettina Groschopp, Computer Science student: “Participating in MBST (Mindfulness Based Student Training) meant I was able to try out different meditation techniques and get my questions answered as I had hoped. We meditated a lot using different methods, such as while sitting or walking. An experienced meditation teacher showed ways to counter stress, procrastination and exam anxiety with a mindful attitude. Sharing thoughts with the others was particularly enriching. I now feel calmer and more content overall.”
Regina Hartung, Inclusion Officer of the Employer: “In MBET (Mindfulness Based Employer Training), employees learned in a safe environment how to keep their cool in stressful situations and take care of their personal well-being. With the knowledge gained from this course, each individual can do something good for themselves and contribute to a good university culture.”
