The "Bewegte Pause" (active break) starts at new locations in winter semester 2018/19
In the summer semester 2018, the University Sports Centre carried out a pilot project of the "Bewegte Pause" (active break) at two locations with great success.
This free offer within the framework of University Health Management is mainly aimed at employees involved in PC and deskwork. In concrete terms, this is a 15-minute break from exercise that takes place once a week directly at the workplace. In individual office groups of three to seven people, shoulder, back and neck muscles are trained, relaxed and loosened with the help of small devices (e.g. Thera bands, gymnastic or spikies). The trainer brings all the necessary training equipment with him. For the "Bewegte Pause" it is not even necessary to change clothes and participation is recognised as working time.
Due to the consistently positive response to the offer, the University Sports Centre is greatly expanding its capacities for the 2018/19 winter semester and is offering the "Bewegte Pause" at the following locations:
- The administration building on Strehlener Straße
- Directorate 4 on Bergstraße 69
- The building around the Auditorium Centre Bergstraße
- The building at Zellescher Weg
The long-term objective is to offer the "Bewegte Pause" in the future at as many TU locations as possible.
All information about the offer, the concrete office locations where the "Bewegte Pause" is offered and the possibility for the reservation find you starting from 26th September on the homepage of the USZ in the sport offers under "employee sport":
