Keep moving - prevention courses starting in October 2023
The University Health Management offers the free prevention courses Rücken Fit (Back Fit) and Rücken Fit light (Back Fit Light) for employees together with the Techniker Krankenkasse and probably again from October 2023 Functional Circuit Training (Crosstraining) for students. The courses take place at TK-Punkt or at Sportpark.
Registration will be possible from 11 October 2023 5 pm here.
The following prevention courses are planned for the winter semester 2023/24:
Functional circuit training (cross training) – for TUD students
You can expect an interesting mix of exercises for strengthening, coordination, endurance and flexibility - a holistic and functional training in the form of interval and circuit training including the training of lifting techniques with additional weights.
Motivating – challenging – effective.
Starting on Tuesday, 17 October 16:30-17:25 and Thursday, 19 October 15:30-16:25 at Sportpark.
Rücken Fit light (Back Fit light) – for TUD staff
The aim of the course is to achieve a healthy back without posture problems and pain from tension through functional everyday movements, fascia training, stretching, strengthening the muscles and stabilising the spine. The back exercises target the whole back and make you more comfortable every day.
The course is designed in such a way that it can easily be integrated into a longer (lunch) break. No maximum loads take place, so you should not sweat too much.
Starting on Wednesday, 18 October 13:15-13:45 and 14:00-14:30 at TK-Punkt.
Rücken Fit (Back Fit) – for TUD staff
In the course you can expect an interesting mix of exercises for strengthening, coordination, flexibility and dexterity. All these factors are intended to keep your back in shape in the long term. You will not miss out on sweating, because you will complete a holistic and functional training as interval and circuit training under expert guidance, including the training of lifting techniques with additional weights in order to be able to cope with all situations in everyday life in a back-friendly way.
Starting on Monday, 16 October 16:30-17:25 and Thursday, 19 October 16:30-17:25 at Sportpark.
