The Day of Sleep on June 21, 2021
We spend a good third of our lives asleep. According to figures collected a few months ago, the majority of people in Germany (61%) wake up feeling well rested. However, almost half of those surveyed said they could not sleep all through the night without waking up.
29% of people surveyed rated their sleep quality as "mediocre", 8% "rather poor" and 2% even as "very poor". Twice as many women as men suffer from sleep problems. The number 1 sleep killer is work-related stress, followed by family and health problems.
The Techniker Krankenkasse (health insurance provider), a cooperation partner of TU Dresden's University Health Management, has compiled many valuable tips and online offers for TUD employees to mark the Day of Sleep on June 21, 2021, in order to help them get a better night's sleep:

The offers are free of charge for all TUD employees, regardless of which health insurance company they are insured with.
Registration is now open. To ensure that the events run smoothly, registrations for online modules will be accepted up to 24 hours before the start of the event.
