Studying at the Department of Church History

The regularly offered introductory seminar provides an introduction to the methodology of historical work. Seminars serve to deepen and discuss selected focal points. Sources - primarily texts, but also factual sources - are critically examined. Excursions are offered regularly to explore church history at its historical sites.

Events focus on the period from 1500 to 1989. A special emphasis is placed on the Reformation.
