Gabriele Wadlig is a postdoctoral research associate at the Chair of Legal and Constitutional Studies with Interdisciplinary Relations at TU Dresden. She is funded by and works within the SFB/TRR 339 “Digital Twin of the Road System — Physical-Informational Representation of the Future Road System” on TP C01 “Legal and Political Challenges of the Cyber-Physical Social Road System.” She is interested in the (global) governance of nature, technology, and infrastructure and the entanglement of legal and non-legal technologies of governance therein.
Gabriele Wadlig attended the Juridical Science Doctorate (JSD) Program at New York University (NYU) School of Law where she wrote her dissertation on the concept of tenure security in international law. Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained an LLM in International Legal Studies from NYU, a Mag.a iur. from University of Graz, and a Joint Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development (MSc) from the Universities of Venezia/Graz/Leipzig. She also holds a BSc from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
