How is it done?

1. You apply at UEW or TU Dresden for one of the both master courses mentioned above just as any other applicant.
2. You apply for 2°ib within deadlines, fixed below.
3. If you get selected for 2°ib, you study your 3rd semester at the partner university abroad.

Application procedure

A maximum of 10 students from each university can participate in the two degrees programme in each academic year. Their enrolment takes place according to ordinary enrolment rules of the host university (i.e. either WUE or TUD).

During the semester of exchange all students have to be enrolled at their home institution as well as the partner university. Students participating in the programme have to pay the fees according to the partner universities’ regulations with respect to the agreement.

Selection will be based on academic records, language skills, curriculum and motivation and will take place upon completing a formal application to the two degrees programme within the following deadlines:

  • IHI students, applying for exchange semester at WUE: Application until December 15th 2020 at Prof. Eckert. Then registration via ePortal WUE until November 24th 2019 (link is sent to applicants).
  • UEW students, applying for exchange semester at TUD: Application via WUE until April 1st 2021.

Selected students will be reviewed by the coordinator of the partner institution. Admission to the two degrees programme is conditional until the minimum requirements of the ordinary enrolment to the host institution have been met. Each partner has the right to reject candidates proposed by the other.
