Welcome!

Prof. Dr. Irene Ring is the head of the Chair of Ecosystem Services. An international research team is working on governance and the valuation of ecosystem services, as well as economic and social science biodiversity research. The interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, as well as the socially relevant activities of the chair are based on the overarching concept of sustainable development.

On the following pages, we will introduce you to our activities in teaching and research. We hope you enjoy reading, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
