The research of the professorship takes place at the IZS in Görlitz, which is operated jointly by the TU Dresden (IHI Zittau) and the IÖR Dresden. In its research, the IZS orients itself towards the need for knowledge in practice. By embedding it in a theoretical and methodological framework, research questions and research projects with a European, national or regional scope are developed from this need.
