On April 9, Markus Scholz and Daniel Kindermann (PhD, University of Delaware) were digital guests at the UPJ Corporate Network. During the online exchange on the topic "What's next for corporate responsibility?", the effects of the German parliamentary elections and the political change of direction in the USA on the future responsibilities of companies were discussed, among other things.

Markus Scholz and Daniel Kinderman provided exciting impulses and highlighted how these developments can have a lasting impact on debates and practical approaches in companies - for example on climate protection, diversity, supply chains and commitment to democracy. 

A key outcome of the discussion was that, in the face of growing pressure, it is important to preserve and strengthen what already exists. A clearly defined set of values, developed and documented in collaboration with stakeholders, can serve as a strategic guide. Especially in turbulent times, such shared values provide orientation and enable companies to react to new risks and challenges in an agile and forward-looking manner.
