Responsible Management Talks: Upper Lusatia economic region - between structural weakness and corporate responsibility

Economic challenges, social change, political tensions - responsible entrepreneurship is more important today than ever before. The Responsible Management Talks of the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Responsible Management, at IHI Zittau (TU Dresden) bring together science, practice and society.

In cooperation with the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the next edition is dedicated to the challenges and potential of the Upper Lusatia economic region. How can economic development be combined with societal responsibility in structurally weak regions? And how can responsible entrepreneurship succeed in uncertain times?

Dr. Eckhard Burkatzki, Research Associate at the Chair, will open the evening with an overview of the challenges facing the region. Frank Großmann, branch manager of the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will explain how companies in the district of Görlitz are overcoming challenges and the pressure to transform. We will also ask what role values play in dealing with challenges and pressure situations and how corporate responsibility can contribute to strengthening the region.
