Strategy in uncertain times: Guest lecture by Mariia Foshchii from TU Kharkiv

From June 9 to July 5, our Chair welcomes Mariia Foshchii as a visiting researcher as part of an Erasmus+ mobility program.

Mariia Foshchii works as a Research Associate at the Chair of Management at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTU "KhPI") in Ukraine and is currently visiting our Chair as part of her stay at IHI-Zittau.

On  June 18th, she presented her research entitled "Strategizing Business Development in a Changing Environment" as part of the course "Organization and Human Resource Management" taught by Prof. Markus Scholz and Dr. Benedikt Kapteina. Her work focuses on the development of flexible strategy tools for companies that need to adapt or reassess their strategic direction in a short period of time. Using several Ukrainian companies as examples, it was illustrated how these tools can be used to analyze uncertain market conditions in a more targeted manner and make informed decisions on a mathematical basis.

We would like to thank Mariia Foshchii for her visit and the valuable scientific exchange. We are delighted that she was able to share her insightful research findings with our students and staff.
