Plant (Phylo-)Genomics

Summary: As sequencing gets cheaper and the methods get better, we generate data for more and more species. In this module, the students will learn about typical research questions that can be solved with sequencing data. They will receive own datasets and explore these using state of the art bioinformatics and (phylo-)genomics methods. This will allow them to assemble small organellar genomes and to resolve species relationships.
