Population and Conservation Genetics

Summary: The course introduces to the basic principles and concepts of population genetics/genomics. This is being taught referring to timely scientific questions and research projects. The students design and perform an own study, generate data in the laboratory and analyse them using state-of the-art methods (including computational approaches). The participants of the course present scientific questions and data resulting from their own work as scientific paper and/or talk.
