Green Transition Conference on 26.01.24: Biodiversity management as a competitive advantage in the context of the EU taxonomy
About the Green Transition Conference
Stable, healthy ecosystems form the indispensable basis for our survival, well-being, and prosperity. The dramatic loss of biodiversity worldwide also threatens the basis of our economy.
By ratifying the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), our society has committed itself to halting the loss of biodiversity. With the "European Green Deal", regulations and guidelines for a sustainable transformation are gradually being made and adopted.
The EU taxonomy plays a key role in this by classifying economic activities according to whether or not they are in line with environmental objectives.
The "do-no-significant-harm principle" ensures that environmental objectives are achieved without compromising other environmental objectives. This approach guides investments in economic activities that are needed for a green transition.
The "Green Transition Conference" provides a unique platform to exchange and share innovative ideas with leading minds from science and business. We are convinced that biodiversity management is not only a responsibility but also a significant competitive advantage for companies.
We cordially invite you to our event and ask you to register by 19.01.2024! Participation is free of charge, we look forward to seeing you!
