New Name of our Chair: Chair of Business Administration esp. Sustainability and Biodiversity Management

We are pleased to announce the new name for our Chair, effective 1st of October, 2026. The name will change from "Chair of Business Administration esp. Environmental Management" to "Chair of Business Administration esp. Sustainability and Biodiversity Management". This new name will accompany us in the future and will also show which research fields our team is dedicated to.

At the same time, we would like to introduce our Research Group Sustainability and Biodiversity Management at the Faculty of Business and Economics at TU Dresden. Led by Prof. Dr. Remmer Sassen, the group addresses issues related to sustainability and biodiversity management. The focus is on sustainable transformation processes and biodiversity issues in companies, environmental and climate strategies, and resource efficiency. It follows an interdisciplinary approach, combining academic research with practical relevance.

In addition to research, the group contributes to teaching at the Faculty of Business and Economics and collaborates with partners from academia, industry, and policy.
