In this practical presentation, the German Council for Sustainable Development, represented by Florian Harrlandt, will introduce itself and the Sustainability Code. This reporting standard serves organizations for transparent and comprehensive disclosure of their sustainability performance. The presentation will also cover current political and regulatory developments aimed at promoting sustainable business practices among companies, as well as their implementation through the Sustainability Code. Within the framework of a cooperation project between IHI Zittau and the German Council for Sustainable Development, a team of the Chair of Environmental Management is engaged in the accompanying scientific research and the coordination of the report review processes. The presentation is aimed at all interested students across all disciplines.
