Prof. Rodrigo Lozano appointed as Dresden Senior Fellow

The Chair of Business Administration, especially Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting, is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Rodrigo Lozano as a Dresden Senior Fellow. His stay at the TU Dresden is scheduled from September to October 2024.

Prof. Lozano, a distinguished scholar in the field of organisational sustainability, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our institution. He served as a Professor of Organisational Sustainability at the University of Gävle, Sweden, and is the Specialty Chief Editor of Frontiers in Organisations for Sustainability. He also holds a visiting professorship at the Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Prof. Lozano has dedicated more than twenty years to promoting sustainability in NGOs, universities and companies. His diverse projects have covered a wide range of sustainability-related topics such as sustainability literacy, energy efficiency, sustainability assessment and reporting, and organisational change management, to name a few. He has also developed innovative assessment tools such as the GRaphical Assessment of Sustainability Performance (GRASP), the Sustainability Tool for Assessing University Curricula Holistically (STAUNCH®) and the Graphical Assessment for Sustainability in Universities (GASU™).

During his stay at TU Dresden, Prof. Lozano will inter alia hold a PhD paper development workshop, providing invaluable guidance and insights to doctoral candidates. Additionally, he will deliver a guest lecture on key topics of his research. These events represent an excellent opportunity for the TU Dresden community to engage with a leading expert in the field.
