Student assistant for the Sustainability Code project
Job Description:
The Sustainability Code, developed by the German Council for Sustainable Development, is an international transparency standard. It serves as an instrument for organizations of different sizes and forms to disclose their sustainability performance. Within the scope of the cooperation project, a team of our chair is engaged in the coordination of the report review as well as the continuous evaluation and scientific analyses for the further development of the project. Especially for the support of the review processes and evaluation, we are looking for student assistants. The project is characterized by an exciting practical relevance and offers insight into entrepreneurial perspectives on sustainable management as well as political developments in this field and their implementation. More information about the project can be found here.
What tasks can you expect?
- A critical review of the reports
- Scientific accompanying analyses of individual aspects of the DNKs on the basis of the declarations
Who are we looking for?
For the project, we are looking for students who are at the beginning of their Bachelor's or Master's degree and are interested in working for at least two semesters. The expected weekly working hours are four hours. Since the majority of the reports are in German, it is an advantage to speak fluent German. Initial experience (in the form of modules and/or internships) in sustainability reporting or sustainable business can be helpful but is not a prerequisite. The job can be done flexibly in a home office. For this, a high degree of independent, self-structured work is important. In addition, the ability to think analytically is required.
