My name is Judith Lukanowski and I support the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Environmental Management, as a student assistant since October 2024. My task is to optimise information management along the student life cycle. In particular, I contribute my student perspective.
During my bachelor's degree in biology in Tübingen, I got to know the concept of ‘Ecosystem Services’ and decided to study the programme of the same name at IHI Zittau. When I'm not sitting in a lecture, I like to go hiking and jogging or meet my loved ones for a coffee.

Peter Eisenschmidt has been affiliated with the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Environmental Management, at TU Dresden as a student assistant since November 2025. During his Bachelor’s studies in Ecology and Environmental Protection, he made initial scientific contributions in the field of climate change mitigation. In his Bachelor’s thesis, he conducted a methodological assessment of the opportunities and perspectives of biobased negative emission technologies, thereby providing quantitative approaches for sustainable, low-carbon refurbishment of residential buildings. His extensive data research also forms part of the basis for the collaborative research project BioNET.
In parallel, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Geoecology at the University of Potsdam. His Master’s thesis focuses on the climate relevance of Sargassum spp. with regard to their potential use as a medium-term biobased carbon sink.
His research interests focus on the assessment of biobased climate mitigation solutions, with particular emphasis on bioeconomic and socio-economic aspects.
Prior to his academic studies, Peter Eisenschmidt worked for more than seven years in the IT sector of various private companies, including roles as a project manager and trainer. He actively integrates the technical and organizational expertise gained during this time into his current research activities.

My name is Sravan Rajnayan, and I am currently working as a student assistant at TU Dresden with the Chair of Business Administration, Sustainability and Environmental Management. In this role, I support a key new project in the biofuel domain involving multiple EU countries, contributing from a research and student perspective.
I am also a Master’s student in Ecosystem Services at IHI Zittau, TU Dresden. Prior to returning to academia, I worked in corporate environments, particularly in corporate social responsibility and the green tech space. This background allows me to bring a practice-oriented and applied perspective to sustainability and environmental management.
Outside of university, I enjoy travelling and creating vlogs. As a former flight attendant, I have a strong interest in people, cultures, and global perspectives, which continue to shape both my academic and personal journey.
