Project: Sustainability Code
My name is Olivia Staub and I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Administration, especially Environmental Management since February 2022. I support reviewing corporate statements according to the Sustainability Code (DNK) on behalf of the German Council for Sustainable Development.
In addition to my work as a research assistant, I study Business Ethics & Responsible Management at the International University Institute Zittau. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Banking at the DHBW Mannheim.
I chose the master’s program at IHI Zittau because it deals with ethical, economic, and social issues. As a research assistant, I have the opportunity not only to gain theoretical experience in this field but also to gain exciting insight into practice.
In my free time, I enjoy reading or being out in nature. I love traveling and am looking forward to being able to travel a bit more soon.
My name is Frieda Mitschke and I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Administration, especially Environmental Management, since December 2022. I am a member of a team that deals with the audit of corporate reports according to the Sustainability Code on behalf of the German Council for Sustainable Development.
I study economics at TU Dresden and within the elective modules, my focus is mainly on Environmental Management and Energy Economics, as well as Economic Policy and Political Economy.
Because of this, I decided to work as a student assistant in this project, as I can gain practical insights, especially in the field of sustainability reporting.
Away from my studies and work, I like to spend my time doing sports and hanging out with my friends.
My name is Frances Schmied and I have been working as a student assistant at the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Environmental management since December 2022. I am supporting the team in the critical review of sustainability reports of companies according to the Sustainability Code (DNK).
I study economics at TU Dresden with a focus on environmental management and energy economics as well as operations and logistics management. After attending some modules of the professorship, I became aware of the project and saw it as a chance to gain practical experience in the field of sustainability reporting and to get insights into the work of the Sustainability Code. As the topic of sustainability becomes increasingly important in society and business, it is particularly interesting to see how different companies implement sustainability aspects in their business.
Outside of my studies, I like to play volleyball, spend time with my friends, be out in nature, or go skiing in the winter.
