Research interests
I explore how companies in regions undergoing structural transformation, such as Görlitz and Bautzen, can not only attract suitable skilled workers but also retain them in the long term. A key factor in this is the concept of “Cultural Fit” – the alignment between the values and expectations of employees and organizations. I am particularly interested in how this approach can be effectively implemented in practice. In collaboration with regional businesses, I develop training formats that support leaders in actively shaping their organizational culture and using it as a tool for employee retention. My aim is to promote a values-based approach to human resources that focuses not on short-term fixes, but on building sustainable relationships.
Voluntary Activities
In addition to my work on the “Cultural Fit” project at IHI Zittau, I have been serving since 2015 on the board of a non-profit organization that is transforming an old textile factory into a space for community, dialogue, and culture.
