Labs

The Chair of Process Control Engineering operates a number of laboratories and experimental setups that are used in projects and are also available for research partners.  A brief description and corresponding links on pages with detailed information can be found below.

Process-to-Order Lab

The Process-To-Order Lab is used to advance current research topics in the areas of digitization and modularization of the process industry.

Engineering-Labor

The Engineering-Labor houses the modular continuous plant and the batch plant as well as two teaching and research facilities for the process industry. In addition, there are the corresponding engineering stations and control rooms.

Usability for Process Industry (UPI) Lab

The UPI-Labor offers the opportunity to perform usability studies of stationary and mobile devices in a controlled environment. In addition, experiments can be carried out and documented in an industrial environment.

Multi-product multi-path experimental batch plant
