Mission Statement
We investigate models, methods and tools to support decision makers in the engineering and operation of process plants.
The models and tools are used to enable knowledge-intensive work processes , especially in flexible systems-of-systems architectures.
On this basis, we realize cooperative human-machine systems and integrate plants in real time with their digital twin.
- The Chair of Process Control Systems and the Process Systems Engineering Group are closely interlinked across the Faculties of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Science and Engineering.
- The Chair of Process Control Systems and the Process Systems Engineering Group employ a total of around 20 people.
- In addition to many national and international academic partners, we also work closely with partners from industry .
