Introduction
On October 1, 2019, Prof. Vaynzof accepted the call to the professorship for Novel Electron Technologies at the TU Dresden. She previously held a junior professorship in Heidelberg and worked as a PostDoc researcher at Cambridge University and Princeton University. She is the holder of an ERC Starting Grant from the EU.

Research Interests
Prof. Vaynzof's research interests are in the analysis, development and optimization of novel solar cell technologies. With the help of a spectroscopic measuring method established by her, it is possible to map the energy landscape inside solar cells with a resolution in the nanometer range and over time. This enables energy losses to be identified better and more efficient solar cell architectures to be found more easily.
