Studying at the Chair of Building Energy Systems and Heat Supply
In teaching, central and decentral heat and cold supply up to building energy technology are treated. In doing so, the use of producers and stores are evaluated according to technical and economic aspects, taking into account the requirements. Besides systems are calculated and optimised. Furthermore, the focus is on the application of regenerative energy sources in the field of energy supply.
Content of teaching
The Chair of Building Energy Systems and Heat Supply covers the work areas of the former Chairs for
- Energy systems technology and heat management and
- Heating and air-conditioning technology.
The following content is offered for students from the fields of mechanical engineering, regenerative energy systems, industrial engineering, teaching and others:
- Energy management and load forecasting
- Thermal energy stores
- Warming and refrigeration supply and networks
- Coupled production of heat, cold and electricity
- Technical and economic evaluation and optimisation of energy systems
- Power supply with regenerative energy sources.
All necessary documents (assignment tasks, lecture notes, examinations) related to the study offer can be found in OPAL.
