Studying at the Chair of Elastomeric Materials
Lectures are offered in the compulsory elective area of the ‘Materials Science’ degree programme and in the compulsory area of the ‘Lightweight Construction’ specialisation in the ‘Mechanical Engineering’ degree programme. The compulsory elective lecture ‘Elastomeric Materials’ teaches the basic material and technological aspects of the production, processing and application of elastomeric materials.
Courses of the Chair of Elastomeric Materials
The courses "Elastomeric Materials", "Polymer Materials Technologies and Applications" and "Process and Microstructure Properties of Polymeric Materials" are offered in the compulsory elective area of the "Material Science" degree course.
The "Elastomeric Materials" module, which extends over two semesters, includes two lecture sections and is supplemented by a practical course and an exercise with semester-accompanying topic work and teaches the basic material and technological aspects of the production, processing and application of elastomeric materials.
