In the lecture Construction Materials the students will learn effective methods for load appropriate material selection. The material groups treated are metals, ceramics and polymers. In addition to classical construction materials the lectures will also convey current material developments, including the layout criteria that are used in machines, facilities, vehicles and aeroplanes.
