| Course content |
During the production of a component focused changes in the microstructure along the process chain from raw material to finished part are made in order to obtain the desired manufacturing properties as well as the desired final properties. Therefore, knowledge of the dependencies between the process-microstructure-properties is of fundamental importance. For metallic materials this dependency will be shown and underpinned by examples obtained from research projects and commercial practices. |
