Maximilian Dammann studied mechanical engineering at TU Dresden until 2018, specialising in general and constructive mechanical engineering with a focus on product development. In his internship at Evonta Service GmbH, he worked on the constructive adaptation and the increase of the throughput of a seed dressing machine without pickling agent to alternative electron beam systems.
In a diploma thesis, he dealt with the augmentation of technical objects with depth cameras. Since 2018, he has been working as a research assistant at the chair in the field of virtual reality. His work focuses on data preparation for AR/VR applications, user interfaces in AR/VR and reporting strategies for VR design reviews.
