Elias Berger has been a Ph.D. candidate for the Virtual Product Development Chair at Technische Universität Dresden since January 2024, where he explored the use of Generative AI in product development and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Prior to this, he completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Technische Universität München in 2023, with a focus on Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. His Master's thesis involved an efficacy investigation of GPT-3 for support ticket classification. He also holds a B.Sc. in Informatik from Technische Universität München. During his studies, he spent a semester abroad at IIT Delhi. His Ph.D. is funded by MAN Truck & Bus SE.

In his professional career, he serves as an AI Researcher at MAN Truck & Bus, Munich, and has served as a Software Engineer at Kertos, Munich. They have also gained experience as a Data Engineering Consultant at Aitaro, Munich, a Data Analytics Working Student at Telefonica, Munich, and an IT Security Consultant at Ernst & Young. His skills include Python, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, Git, MLFlow, and Docker.
