Lukas Kömm

Mr Kömm obtained his Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Munich in 2020. The focus lay on product development, among other subjects. This was followed by a master's degree in lightweight construction at Aalen University, which Mr Kömm completed in 2022.

During his studies, he was able to gain experience in the areas of design, calculation and testing of components as a working student and intern at various companies. During his Bachelor's and Master's thesis at MAN Truck & Bus SE, Mr Kömm worked on the optimisation of structural components using the finite element method.

Since January 2023, Mr Kömm has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Virtual Product Development. His main topic is product development through generative engineering.
