Roman Ognevoj studied mechanical engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), specializing in bioengineering and medical technology.
In his master’s thesis at ISEM—the Institute for Smart Engineering and Machine Elements (at TUHH)—Roman Ognevoj examined how insights from behavioral economics can be used to systematically influence the decision-making behavior of decision-makers in PGE—product generation engineering.
Since January 2025, he has been working as a Research Associate at the Chair of Virtual Product Development in the HBiD (Human Behavior in Design) research group.
A central focus is the role of humans as a key factor in development processes. Further information on the individual research areas can be found on the HBiD research group’s website or upon request.
