Martin Pendzik completed his degree in mechatronics at TU Dresden in 2018. The focal points of his studies included manufacturing methods and machine design. During his internship at Daimler AG in Stuttgart, he worked together with the project and team management in the maintenance of transmission production and formed the interface between the operating engineers and the management level.
As part of his diploma thesis at the chair Mr Pendzik dealt with the analysis and evaluation of software solutions for grid structure generation in additively manufactured components. Since completing his studies, he has been working as a research assistant at the chair in the area of reverse engineering. His topics include the surface analysis of additively manufactured components and the integration of special surface properties into the design process.
