34. Symposium Design for X

We are pleased to host this year's 34th DFX-Symposium on 14 & 15 September 2023 in Radebeul near Dresden. The symposium is organised and carried out by us, the Chair for Virtual Product Development (VPE) of the TU Dresden under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kristin Paetzold-Byhain.

The symposium offers young scientists from the field of product development a platform to present their research ideas. In addition to the publication of the contributions (incl. DOI and listing on Scopus), the intensive discussions with representatives from research and industry contribute to the deepening and sharpening of their own research topics.

The main topics of the 34th DfX Symposium are:

• Digital Engineering & Systems Engineering,
• Lightweight construction in product development,
• Augmented and Virtual Reality,
• User-centred product development,
• Design for X.
