Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kristin Paetzold was appointed to the Chair of Virtual Product Development in July 2021. She was born 1969 in Saalfeld, Thuringia.

Research at the Chair of Virtual Product Development

Construction science and the application of IT in the engineering process are the research priorities at the Chair of Virtual Product Development. Individual research fields consist in product lifecycle management, reverse engineering and in the further development of virtual reality for various fields of application.
