The end of the summer semester is traditionally celebrated with a big party to which our students, staff and graduates are invited. Here you can make your own kettle goulash and enjoy it yourself, talk to graduates about career opportunities, or simply party late at night to loud DJ sounds.
National 99 € Bioreactor Competition

The Dresden Biochemical Engineering Alumni Association (Link) organizes the "99 € - Bioreactor Competition" every year. In this competition, students of bioprocess engineering from all over Germany are called upon to develop cost-effective bioreactors for changing tasks. The competition is financially supported by numerous companies. This enables the participating groups to travel to Dresden to present their technical solutions at a joint event. The winners are awarded during the annual summer party of the professorship. A summary of the results of the last competitions can be found here!
