Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Arkadiusz Bernaczyk

"Investigations into the influence of mechanical processing and adhesion promoters on the strength of bonded wooden components"

On October 20, 2025, Dr.-Ing. Arkadiusz Bernaczyk successfully defended his dissertation entitled: "Investigations on the influence of mechanical processing and adhesion promoters on the strength of bonded wooden components", which he wrote at the Institute of Natural Materials Technology at TU Dresden under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Markus Schubert (Institute of Process Engineering and Environmental Technology, TU Dresden).

The doctoral thesis was reviewed by Prof. Dr. André Wagenführ (Chair of Wood Technology and Fiber Materials Technology), Prof. Steffen Fischer (Institute of Plant and Wood Chemistry) and Prof. Dr. Peter Niemz (ETH Zurich). Prof. Dr. Frank Miletzky was also a member of the doctoral committee.
