In order to build networks and intensify the Franco-German scientific dialog, the Franco-German University supports the organization of events for early-career researchers (e.g. summer schools and research workshops), which last at least two days but no longer than four weeks.

The current funding in 2025 is advertised in general as well as on two specific topics, namely "Securing democracy as a challenge for society as a whole: interdisciplinary approaches" and "Artificial intelligence and its challenges for our society".

The program is open to all departments. A prerequisite for funding is a Franco-German orientation of the event. Details on the calls for applications can be found on the DFH website.
