transCampus funding programme for joint projects with King's College London
Call for projects 2026
The transCampus call for projects is open now. Proposals for joint endeavours in 2026 can be submitted until 30 September 2025. All employees of the TU Dresden are eligible to apply and receive funding. The project volume is limited to 15,000 EUR at TUD plus 5,000 GBP at King’s. Please note the list of the eligible costs and the information on budget calculation below.
Aims and Profile
The transCampus funding program aims at strengthening cooperation between King's College London and Technische Universität Dresden and therefore supports initiatives that initiate or expand various forms of cooperation.
Projects should aim at one or more of the following objectives:
- Initiation and expansion of research collaborations and projects with King's College London
- Joint application for third-party funding for research projects with partners at King's
- Joint publications
- Exchange of PhD students, academic or non-academic staff
- Involvement of students in international collaborations (no mere teaching formats!)
- Strengthening the international visibility of transCampus and TUD
Projects that are limited to teaching and mere student exchange are not eligible for funding.

Projects of previous years
Small projects fund
Application for the funding of projects with a max. budget of EUR 3,000 is possible at any time. Additionally, travel expenses can (partly) be covered if no other financial resources are available. Please contact our transCampus team.
